ICA Free For All: Art, Digital Media, and the ICA

Sydnie and I work with the ICA Student Board, where we spoke today about Juliana Huxtable and Scraatch, two artist groups doing really exciting digital sound and performance work.  Scraaatch is a duo, with Penn MFA candidate Chukwuma, who work together on some pretty radical soundscape work.  And, DJ Juliana Huxtable does it all: she’s a queer poet who incorporates her lyrics into club music and a event host who installs her subversive visual art at music venues in New York City.

Both are going to be performing at ICA’s Free For All on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.  Come check it out! (I linked both of their sound clouds.)
